THE HAGELMAN BARRIE QUICK START PROGRAM

EXECUTIVE OVERVIEW

Long Term Care Insurance must be sold one on one. It is our industry's most difficult insurance sale. Sales training and education are crucial to success.

Hagelman Barrie Sales Training Solutions has developed a system to provide our extensive experience to help agents understand the nature and dynamics of the buying process. In addition to our long careers in Long Term Care Insurance sales, if you add up Margie Barrie's monthly LTCi column in "Senior Market Advisor Magazine" and Ron Hagelman's monthly LTCI articles in "Broker World Magazine," we have written more on the subject of long-term care insurance sales than anyone in the business. That is in addition to the courses provided by our training company.

The NEW Quick Start Program is a structured six week program for agents who really want to learn how to sell LTCI. Here is an overview of how it works:

  • Agents access our EIGHT courses on-line at the HB website. The courses can be divided into three categories:
    1. LTC Overview — 2 courses
    2. One-on-one Client Presentation — 4 courses
    3. Group & Worksite Sales — 2 courses

  • We enroll them in our structured learning program. This ensures two important training elements:
    • EDUCATION — Agents progress through the LTCI education program on a timely basis, learning the needed information to successfully sell this product.
    • ACCOUNTABILITY — Their progress is tracked to ensure that they are completing assignments on a timely basis.

  • The training program is based on a 6 WEEK schedule. It encompasses all eight courses and three scheduled webinars.
  • (To encourage students to complete the courses on a timely basis, Course 8 — "The Best Of The Best: Client Presentations That Work" will be sent after the other 7 courses are completed.)

  • We provide personalized webinar instruction throughout the six week period. This allows us to re-emphasize the most important lessons in each course as well as provide a forum to answer specific questions. Our Citronix Go to Webinar program will allow up to 1,000 participants per call.
  • The completion of each course is verified by the Certificates of Completion provided on our website. We require that the Certificates of Completion be faxed to our office and monitor each agent's progress.
  • If desired, reports can be provided to agencies so that they can monitor agents' progress.
  • In essence, we will personally walk selected agents through our courses with full access to our collective sales experience.
